Year 7-10 Agriculture

Worm Farming

Using worm farms is a way of reducing food waste that goes to landfill.  The worms eat the food leftovers and turn them into castings (also called worm manure).  Castings can be used on the garden instead of fertilizers.  Worm farms also produce a liquid, “worm juice” which can be diluted and used on the garden.
